lauren cool pic! I am looking at the critiquing questions and so my comment is based on the astehetics overall color scheme--
I am wonder if the kangaroo was a color other than black if it would stand out a little more againts the bright colors of the house. just food for thought--
I do find the composotion really interesting and I wish I had a kangaroo hoping through my yard!
